Our sophisticated equipment can achieve a multitude of information regarding farm ground and crop health. From identifying potential drainage issues to verification that a spraying partner has fully fulfilled their contract, we can help you reduce costs, increase revenues, and care for the land. Below are examples of some of the many outcomes our services offer.
Our intelligent workflow ensures that your fields are fully flown and with the highest possible resolution, ensuring quick and accurate results. Our system stores your workflow so the same flight patterns are flown each time we analyze your fields, giving you a historical look of your farm over time. All data is stored securely and kept for a minimum of 10 years.
The use of multispectral imaging allows us to locate areas of poor draining, excess water, and low spots to help you plan planting patterns, future land improvements, and more. This information is critical to ensuring that should it be necessary, accurate information is available to crop insurers should a loss be realized.
Our drones capture a minimum of 6 different views of your field with each image, allowing us to utilize orthomosaic maps that allow us to identify 1) chlorophyl imagery (plant health) 2) stressed plans 3) weeds 4) insect damage 5) plant counts. You will see your farm like never before and gain critical insights to help you achieve maximum yields in your fields!
These images show crop health with the healthiest areas shown in green and stressed areas shown in red. By utilizing both NDVI and NDRE imaging we can further refine your results. Many providers use NDVI only which gives you only a high-level crop health analysis. Our NDRE imaging takes it a step further and more narrowly identifies areas that may need attention.
Using MSL analysis, we can work with you to determine potential crop yields of corn and soybeans, helping you better plan your operations.
Using infrared (FLIR) imaging we can also determine dry spots in your fields where plants may not be getting the irrigation they need to thrive. Areas in pink are likely being deprived of water causing them to appear as at a higher temperature than the plants in blue shades that are properly respirating and therefore likely have proper access to water.
Mo Agri Drone recommends multiple flights of each field annually to get the most out of the technology. By flying a field early in the season you can get accurate information about crop emersion and plant health. Flying a field after a field is sprayed either directly by the farmer, by an outside spray partner, or by Mo Agri Drone using our crop spraying drones, we can see how effective and comprehensive the application of chemical has been. In the NDRE map you see a field sprayed approximately 2 weeks prior to the image with liquid fertilizer. You can clearly see the route the spray partner took (in blue) and the many areas that were missed by the sprayer. This information is critical to high yields and ensuring your partners are doing their part.
Additionally, the image on the far right shows crop emergence with areas in yellow being within the normal range expected and red being out of the norm. This could indicate that part of the field sprouted prior to the rest of the field, or that the field may have a soil issue (like crusted topsoil) that caused a variance in the crop.
Our machine learning technology also allows us to get detailed data and information on fields when early season flights are conducted. Our drones can process early season images and provide highly accurate plant counts for corn, soybeans, wheat, other row crows, and even some consumer crops (strawberries, garlic, etc.). By leveraging this new technology, which is more accurate than traditional stand counting methods, you can gain true insight into potential crop yields, crop health issues, and more.
